Kendall Coffey Attorney at Law

Kendall Coffey is a former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, a Miami attorney at Coffey Burlington, and legal media analyst.  He is the author of Spinning the Law: Trying Cases in the Court of Public Opinion.  The book covers high profile cases and how media and public relations can affect the outcome of a case.  He currently remains partner at his firm, Coffey

Burlington, sits as Chair of the Southern District Conference’s Florida Federal Judicial Nominating Commission, and is a frequent expert on MSNBC.

Kendall Coffey is a Florida native, and graduated law school from the University of Florida in Miami.  He has recieved wide recognition as a lawyer of the year as part of Al Gore’s legal tema in 2000.  He has also been involved with high profile cases involving Elian Gonzalez, Michael Jackson and others.  He became a frequent commentator for the Natalie Hollaway disappearance, the Casey Anthony trial and the murder of Trayvon Martin.
